"When I was young (66 years ago), t.v. had not yet been invented. Instead we had these marvelous things that had superior graphics & sound; much better special effects, a greater variety of topics and NO COMMERCIALS! We called them BOOKS."

Today, our kids know about our ranching, hunting, and wildlife. As they grow older, they'll know a little more - about our high dropout, illiteracy, and unemployment rates. All these things are daily life in Fremont County.
When you give a dollar, the state gives a dollar: our community gains two. Imagine that! Your gift is matched - dollar for dollar - in the truest sense of win-win.
Thanks to generous state legislation, we have the fantastic opportunity of receiving up to $556,552 in extra funds - with lots of love from the state of Wyoming. We can start to put these donations to use right away. For every $10,000 that's received, the government matches it at once.
Consider the triple benefit this has for:
Watch your gift stretch twice as far. No matter your contribution, you're able to watch it benefit twice as many people.
We need your help to collect it.
Today, the future's waiting.
Our library's future is tied to much more than books and buildings. It's the people of this generation and generations to come who will use our libraries to grow more informed, more hopeful and more determined.
Through your legacy:
We can't picture a better return on investment than those coming and going through the busy front doors of our library. To help our library maintain its vital role in the community, it needs a steady source of revenue.
Wyoming's boom & bust economy is well known. When we bust, the whole area is affected, including the library! It's then that we need a stable flow of income to guarantee consistent valuable library services. A solid endowment can do just that, regardless of what's going on outside library walls.
Your kind gift to the library foundation enhances our community's opportunities.
Let this endowment be your proud legacy.
Got plans for New Years Eve, 2013? We do. A little toast to celebrate the last day of this campaign. The state's dollar-for-dollar matching campaign ends that day: December 31, 2013.
Then, that's it. Bye bye, matching money. We're grateful recipients, but we have to be a bit cheeky, and slightly impatient.
Any generous commitment that you make, before December 2013, can be fulfilled over a period of four years (to December, 2014).
This limited chance to receive two dollars for every one really has our attention.
We hope it has yours.
